If you want to purchase the membership, be sure you are prepared to cancel at the end of the year - you will not get a reminder or a refund!
The Birdhouse membership is great if you’re looking to buy a few more expensive things or are gifting a lot. It’s rather frustrating from a logistic perspective because even though you can cancel at any time, once you cancel you lose hour benefits. There is no option to just cancel auto renew. Further, there is no email reminder when you are coming up on your renew date. When you’re a busy parent, this is really frustrating. Even if you reach out mere hours after your credit card has been charged for another year, your only option is to cancel your benefits. This is the second year this has happened to me, and despite reaching out to customer service over a week ago, I have not had any response.
We are about to have our third child and $120 is a lot of money, which I feel like has now been thrown away.
